About the workshops
Jeremy and Rose are passionate about teaching clinical skills and creative clinical thinking. These workshops are very well suited to new practitioners, and more experienced practitioners who are lacking confidence when applying their knowledge to real-life clinical situations. These workshops will teach you to:
· Develop creative diagnostic thinking
· Develop trust in your ability to perceive your patients clearly
· Pinpoint pathology location using 5 element theory; Qi, water, blood theory; wei, ying, yuan theory, the 6 divisions and the 8 parameters.
· Create treatment maps for your patients (rather than treatment plans)
· Choose effective treatment strategies for your patients
There will be opportunities to deepen you understanding of practical clinical skills such as pulse taking, palpation, needling techniques, draping, setting clear boundaries for your patients and opportunities to ask questions and delve deeper into topics that interest the group.
How it works
This workshop is open to anyone who is currently in practice, and especially those who have an interest in classical Chinese medicine. In each workshop we will have 4 spots available for students to present a case study. We’d like the whole group to be involved in exploring each case. Then, together we’ll unpack the questions and topics of interest that arise from this process.
